PLEASE CLICK HERE TO FIND YOUR NEAREST RESPIRATORY CLINIC.
If you have cold or flu symptoms, it is advised NOT to visit a regular medical centre. Instead, schedule a COVID test at your local Respiratory Clinic. These specialised health centres are designed specifically for patients with respiratory illnesses or flu symptoms, or those referred by their GP for a COVID-19 assessment or test. Your GP may refer you to a Respiratory Clinic for assessment instead of testing at a regular medical center to help reduce the potential spread of the virus and prevent overcrowding in emergency departments. COVID-19 tests at Respiratory Clinics are FREE for all patients, all results will be sent to the referring GP for follow-up, and you can also self-refer if you have flu-like symptoms.
However, if you are experiencing severe symptoms, call 000 for an ambulance. For non-urgent medical help regarding Covid 19, please contact: 13 HEALTH (13 43 25 84)
